OK, re Gil Bernal: when I was a kid my parents subscribed to Life magazine, which went tits-up in 1972 due to inflationary printing costs. Time Life followed the demise of Life with a hardcover Best Of book. That book contained all experience 30s-70s, including the difficult stuff. One of the pix is ca 1965 in Selma AL, an African-American facing off the police & their attack German Shepherds. That is this song & thank you Mr Bernal.
