The Saturday after the opening night of the Planned Parenthood Book Sale (Iowa) was better than x-mas. My brother and I would rush to the living room to watch cartoons, as usual, but there would be bags and bags and paper shopping bags full of books for us. All that plus no boring turkey dinner or relative fights. It was the best!
