Of course it’s Italian…
Recently watched the Italian winter western ‘The Great Silence’ (1968) that I had never seen before. It was pretty epic & definitely has influenced Tarantino & seems to have also preceded Altman’s wonderful wintery ’McCabe & Mrs Miller’! Yet the most significant take-away from the experience was the awesome Ennio Morricone soundtrack = very distinctive.
(oh, & Klaus Kinski was humorously horrid😊).
