The songs were written largely during covid lockdown era. I was deep into mythology, astrology, and my own personal journeying. The record is mostly about the fertility of unsteady ground, about ways of knowing that are felt in darkness - that place where all new things begin. I guess it is about creative force, in general, the wild wandering places where things generate and transform. It is also literary, an alternate world I built to express interior processes, where pain could be beautiful but like, in a healthy way. It kind of traces that slithering line between pain and pleasure. The erotic contradictions. The tensions of living... /////////// Now come all the mixed feelings of excitement and doubt, and the uncertainty continues as it releases into an uncertain world.
