I've been so for a week and a half, and it's had my left ear blocked, laryngitis, asthma, and overflowing into both eyes. It seems to have started from my cardiologist trying me on spironolactone, which I quit after a week, but once the inflammation's in the auditory canal, it's hard to get rid of, and pseudoephedrine's too risky. My condolences, NGH. Per her wishes, I had no funeral, or even a memorial, for my mom, who died in the early months of COVID (though not of COVID). She spent most of her life in Southern California, but I moved her north to be near us in early 2019. I had her cremated, but thought it inappropriate to scatter her ashes here, rather than SoCal or her hometown, Toledo, OH. So, she resides in the comfortable studio in our backyard along with my records. Whenever I retrieve a new stack to play, I visit with her. "Hi, Mom!"

Thanks for all your kind comments today! It's just about time to take my sniffles elsewhere, and I'll return next Monday at noon. Do stay right here on the stream for Wendy del Formaggio and Wreck Your Own Adventure. wfmu.org...
