	6:58am dday: Morning All. I'd like to apologize to you all if my posts lately are bringing you down. I have lots of things going on that are not pleasant & are having negative effects on me & well, the way my brain works is I need to see it in print to be able to acknowledge it, compartmentalize it & then try to deal with it as best I could. It's just me & her here and though you know I talk of lots of friends I have, it seems when you are going through tough times, most seem to disappear. I've always been the opposite so it's extra hard for me to wrap my head around. I've been through decades of medical craziness , mostly for others in my life since the 80's and I guess it's finally taking it's toll on me, the guy who "never worries" and can take it all for others. Thanks to all of you who care enough to offer kind words of encouragement & love. I'll be OK, but I'm sure there will be more stressful events coming as my love & I face the long road that cancer presents us. Thanks again.

	7:25am dday: Most of life for me is about "situational awareness" and "context" Yesterday, in the midst of my breakdown, I went out to find my car dead. No juice at all, temps in the teens. Aside from the initial "what next" feelings, I stepped back & knew I had to deal with it. I hooked up the jumper cables & jumped it with my loves 20 year old Honda (Ms. Reliable) and then set about to figure out why it went dead. After hours of troubleshooting weird symptoms & much mental gymnastics, which in the end required me to tear the interior of the rear 5th door apart, I found that that the electronic trunk latch failed two days ago (last time I used the car), locked the lid and drained the battery by turning on an interior light. I unplugged it and all was normal again except now I can't open the lid except by crawling in & doing it manually. I have to order a replacement trunk lid actuator (sounds so techy, no?). Fixing it under such adverse conditions made me really happy. I am a fixer by nature. See how it goes?

	6:58am dday: Morning All. I'd like to apologize to you all if my posts lately are bringing you down. I have lots of things going on that are not pleasant & are having negative effects on me & well, the way my brain works is I need to see it in print to be able to acknowledge it, compartmentalize it & then try to deal with it as best I could. It's just me & her here and though you know I talk of lots of friends I have, it seems when you are going through tough times, most seem to disappear. I've always been the opposite so it's extra hard for me to wrap my head around. I've been through decades of medical craziness , mostly for others in my life since the 80's and I guess it's finally taking it's toll on me, the guy who "never worries" and can take it all for others. Thanks to all of you who care enough to offer kind words of encouragement & love. I'll be OK, but I'm sure there will be more stressful events coming as my love & I face the long road that cancer presents us. Thanks again.

Did it again with insurance 2008 and though it still sucked it was mostly a cake walk till I did a stem cell transplant. That was hell again. Plus Drs n nurses pushed dope on you recklessly. I think it's a much better environment to go through treatment now. Still very scary. having somebody with you, who loves you really helps. I went through my second treatment alone. I almost wished for Death. My cats pulled me through...

	7:25am dday: Most of life for me is about "situational awareness" and "context" Yesterday, in the midst of my breakdown, I went out to find my car dead. No juice at all, temps in the teens. Aside from the initial "what next" feelings, I stepped back & knew I had to deal with it. I hooked up the jumper cables & jumped it with my loves 20 year old Honda (Ms. Reliable) and then set about to figure out why it went dead. After hours of troubleshooting weird symptoms & much mental gymnastics, which in the end required me to tear the interior of the rear 5th door apart, I found that that the electronic trunk latch failed two days ago (last time I used the car), locked the lid and drained the battery by turning on an interior light. I unplugged it and all was normal again except now I can't open the lid except by crawling in & doing it manually. I have to order a replacement trunk lid actuator (sounds so techy, no?). Fixing it under such adverse conditions made me really happy. I am a fixer by nature. See how it goes?
