Good to hear from you, Lolabelle. It’s been too long. I trust that Euneeda and the rest of the entourage are all doing well?

Gus still grumbles once in a while about being left behind but he’s grudgingly settled into his gig here.

I can’t speak for Mr. Freedman or for unitary-L Michele but the rest of us are looking forward to the day when you all get tired of the road and Courtney returns to the airwaves.

So one of the best things about watching a Mets game is that Keith Hernandez and Gary Cohen do the commentation. The pitcher Senga, has a pitch called the ghost fork. After he strikes out a bunch of people, they hang up a little picture of a ghost with a fork on it. Keith Hernandez, remarking on what the image looks like the other day said “oh spooky tooth”! OH YES.

Recognized THIS right off the bat. Recorded as a "guide vocal" by Karen but she didn't want to record and release a studio version. Posthumous mix and release years later.

Only a "guide vocal", but hers is better than most people's practiced final takes! So glad she recorded this signature song of Paul Williams, considering all of her previous amazing interpretations of his work earlier.

Now I remember where I saw Gary Wright in the sessions - All Things Must Pass. He also played keys for other Apple singles like "It Don't Come Easy", "Back Off Boogaloo", "Try Some, Buy Some", and Nilsson's "Without You"! If it wasn't Nicky Hopkins, it seems to be Gary Wright.

"Wright described Harrison as "my spiritual mentor"; author Robert Rodriguez writes of Wright's "unique" place among musicians with whom Harrison collaborated at this time, in that Wright wasn't an established star, a friend from the years before Harrison achieved fame as a Beatle, or a "studio pro" "

There are some who've tried to parse together track musicians for All Things Must Pass based on the total contributors. Gary Wright is likely the piano/electric piano player on "Isn't It A Pity", "Behind That Locked Door", "Run of the Mill", and "Hear Me Lord" 🥰. Possibly played organ on "Let It Down" and "Wah-Wah".

i recently reinstalled vlc on this ancient windows craptop, and i'm going to uninstall it again before shutting down today. back to winamp.
winamp takes a long time to load but once it's going it's good.
vlc takes nearly as long, but also stops every other computer function. then crashes. then crashes again.

...it just amazes me that 12 years ago realplayer and winamp worked beautifully and now it seems to be impossible to find a better than merely adequate player.
progress.

"Progress". Meh, indeed. VLC is great for processing pretty much every video and audio format. But yes, Winamp works great in operation, and it will even work on old craptops!
