@ fox: listened to your fill in, and wanted to recommend a book to you which relates tangentially to issues of public space. it's from 2002, titled design and crime by hal foster and reuses the idea of "running room" first coined by karl kraus and adolf loos early in 20th c. in relation to art nouveau and its over design as causing a lack of" running room", the psychic space between subject and object ... art nouveau being analogous to the encroachment of technology today

Or should that be brambles of blackberries? Seems that both are permissible. In the Blue Moiuntains near Sydney, where I grew up, blackberries were classified as a noxious weed. The silly Brits brought them over and they wreak ecological havoc in the Australian bush.

I've been really angry ever since I realized that the recommendation of not eating fish or seafood more than twice a week was something that happened in MY LIFETIME, and it's human caused, and we've not even tried to fix it, just let it continue to multiply.

I'm so angry that people and other animals who have relied on the ocean and freshwater lakes for thousands of years get poisoned from it.

Like that wasn't going to come back and make all of us sick?!?!

Avatar 5:14am

↳ Brian D @5:12
The trauma was literally 20 years ago, and the greatet scar of that event had to do with being ignored and not listened to. So when it all hit during the shut down, it was SWEET SWEET VINDICATION. It broke the curse to some degree.
Avatar 5:16am

The publicity of it all. The opportunity to actually have my say, and to know that so many people were edged out of the cool kids club over the years, so my claims were suddenly very valid and reasonable. It utterly fucked up the trajectory of my life. Professional and personal.
