Great show! Such inspiring players. Tonight’s lineup included Ab Baars - klarinet, tenor saxofoon Michael Moore - klarinet, altsaxofoon
Tobias Delius - klarinet, tenor saxofoon Ben van Gelder - altsaxofoon
Joris Roelofs - basklarinet Joost Buis - trombone
Harald Austbo - cello Reinier Baas - gitaar
Terrie Ex - gitaar Ernst Glerum - bas

Trump winning the first time was such a fluke though. The Republican Party has known for ...who knows how long - that their actual Policies put them in the Popular Minority. & - increasingly so (as demographics & media distribution of information change). Therefore - their strategies - & behaviors - have become - &, incrtesingly - more AntiDemocratic (by definition). That is - they've gone for pure Power Politics over Truth or Usefulness - &, been willing to shoot the dice on Populism & any crazy Ideology or Culture War garbage. Even a DonaldDrumpf. (While the Democrats do stuff like, say, hand 'SuperDelegates' to Hillary - the most pompous condescending privileged & assuming persona imaginable - when handed outright a Populist sensation like Bernie who started with Nothing whatsoever but became a Movement).
Gambling wildly like this has yielded Republicans some massive gains ...but it's ultimately the actions of the Desperate. (Not to say the Criminal.)

I agree with everything you have said and I love Bernie but I think Hilary has a great record of public service and was a very effective senator (I'm not defending everything she ever did). The right went after her starting in the 90s. And she is not a great speaker. I think her persona is not smooth. My Irish catholic cousin was visiting Pasadena from Madison, New Jersey, the one time I saw the Dwarves. My mom made me take him and then I felt bad and gave him my ear plugs. Ended up wadding up some business cards from the bar and jamming them in my ears. The Dwarves played for ~9 minutes (most of which was mic feedback), and played 5 or 6 songs before the singer & guitar player got in a fight and disappeared. the drummer left, and the pantsless bass player stuck around a little longer, which made a great story for my cousin to tell back home. (Now I think I'd much rather see the Agouzan dwarves.)

So significant BillClinton was in that Coltrane documentary. That really glued it all together for me...

Second time in 5 days I’ve seen Bennink play. Those ICP cats opened my ears and mind to listening and playing music in a totally new way when I moved to Holland at the end of 1991. So freakin’ inspiring. In my studio hang photos and posters of groups and musicians I have worked with / I love / inspire me. One of those photos is of Han and Misha Mengelberg together

Reports are claiming that former prez Bill C is gonna "dish it out" with new band The Clintortions.
HRC's camp is mum on the issue.

@ Ajay : Dang it … I’m so green with envy y’all are getting to experience the mad genius of Han Bennink so regularly !!! - I’ve only been lucky enough to hear/see him twice in 50+ years. The last time (2010-ish?) he explained touring USA was becoming pointless and a hardship. Decent open-minded Venues shutting down / costs were not being recouped, touring USA is so spread-out & often logistically poorly booked, etc etc.
Still loved his incredible enthusiasms and hearing his thoughts !
