I'm so under-listened when it comes to Wings. This one is actually pretty good. Maybe Back To The Egg is for me?

I really never followed any of the Beatles after they dissolved. (And really, I'm not that knowledgable about them, safe the hits.)

You mean you don't know Gone Troppo by George Harrison? Just kidding, though I'm Team George.

Austin Rich:

↳ Krys O. @8:27
I got that one Harrison album, the one everyone usually has. But what I do recall is that George seemed to be the coolest ex-Beatle. I think all his interviews were really insightful and interesting, and he seemed like a cool dude.

I would have never made that connection. The actual Animal House is in Cottage Grove - where I went to High School - and I have only managed to see that movie once. Maybe I should give it another go.

Yes! Nightfall is very cool. It's a little "new" for Dimestore purposes, but I quite appreciate it.

My first radio gig - KWVA - was in the same building where the cafeteria scenes were filmed in that movie.

There's a lot of Animal House stuff on the University of Oregon campus, and some additional bits were filmed all over, between Eugene and Cottage Grove. We all know a lot about that movie, growing up here. That and Stand By Me; a lot of the train tracks and stuff where all in walking distance of where I lived.

John Sayles did some location shooting on the campus of Upsala College in 1983. I remember seeing the crews and cameras as we went to the commissary and to classes. I never saw it until about five years ago. It stars Rosanna Arquette and Vincent Spano with Robert Downey Jr. too.

Very cool! At my radio station in Portland - KPSU - they filmed scenes from this Ron Livingston movie, "Music Within":

All of the radio station scenes in that movie were shot at KPSU. Some of us - cough - had our shows delayed while they were filming.

Neil Munro, who played George in this episode, also portrayed Beethoven in the film for children "Beethoven Lives Upstairs".
