Discogs confirms that Fiction handled distro in the UK and Europe, with Polydor/Polygram handling ditstro in certain other countries...only sign of the WEA label family handling distro I can see is in Australia. But when Cure broke big stateside in 1985-86, Elektra was handling the distro.

He was reluctant to explain to Dylan what happened between him and the Animals. Eric Burdon's first autobio explains it though.
Alan spoke with Eric over the phone after his abrupt departure, and told him he was hanging with Dylan. The next time Eric saw Alan (albeit not in person) was when he watched that documentary.

All I read about Alan’s departure in “I Used To Be an Animal, But I'm All Right Now” was that Eric made his way to the stage to prepare for a show. He crossed Alan, who was walking in the opposite direction guzzling whiskey from a bottle. The band waited for Alan until somebody reported that he was passed out in the men’s room. They played anyway, and didn’t see him again for quite a while. Dave Rowberry was shortly enlisted to replace him.
