I listened to an interview with a performer from the original run discussing the closing of the show and they didn’t really talk about what it was except that it was exciting and participatory. Made me wanna see it more.

In stomp, there are drums and household items which are played as percussion instruments. The only non-percussion instruments are the brushes (sorta) and the whistles, a little bit of human voice. There are no synthesizers or electronic music, unless the show has changed.

Hey Flan! Never saw “Stomp” but my impression of it was that it was very percussive and not so electronic-y. Like a more family-friendly version of Einstürzende Neubauten.
