The place was insane for even a weekday, and everyone in GP is apparently a size 2 or smaller, but I did manage to score a pair of Docs that were on my wishlist but hadn't ordered yet. They were PRISTINE, as in not even a crease across the toe. I have something like 12 pairs and at this point if someone gave me the right equipstuff I can probably build a pair of 1460's from memory. Having said that, they were only $75 -- which means they probably screwed whomever sold them, but since I had a gift certificate they were essentially free! Also got a small butch-looking bracelet made of bike chain and vinyl. Will go back in a few weeks to spend the balance, hope they have another pair of Docs! And to everyone wondering, I won a gift card at a Creek and Kills show that had a raffle for reproductive rights! Now, back to typing up meeting notes and thanks again, HH and K8! We gotta hit Black Rabbit when I come up for air. It was so WEIRD being....outdoors.

The place was insane for even a weekday, and everyone in GP is apparently a size 2 or smaller, but I did manage to score a pair of Docs that were on my wishlist but hadn't ordered yet. They were PRISTINE, as in not even a crease across the toe. I have something like 12 pairs and at this point if someone gave me the right equipstuff I can probably build a pair of 1460's from memory. Having said that, they were only $75 -- which means they probably screwed whomever sold them, but since I had a gift certificate they were essentially free! Also got a small butch-looking bracelet made of bike chain and vinyl. Will go back in a few weeks to spend the balance, hope they have another pair of Docs! And to everyone wondering, I won a gift card at a Creek and Kills show that had a raffle for reproductive rights! Now, back to typing up meeting notes and thanks again, HH and K8! We gotta hit Black Rabbit when I come up for air. It was so WEIRD being....outdoors.
