I was book shopping spontaneously on Sunday. Stood before the poetry section and looked for something that was from 20th or 21st Century. An Alfred Lord Tennyson collection caught my eye through a beautiful cover. But I learned from the back of the book that Tennyson was a 19th Century poet. Didn't choose that book. BUT I'm looking forward to listen to his poetry!

Born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1991. After completing the master's course at Kunitachi College of Music, he completed the doctoral course at the same graduate school. He is currently enrolled as a research student at the same university. After receiving the 33rd Contemporary Music Composer Award and the Audience Award for his penetrating scrutiny of materials and his style of weaving a precise time structure, he studied abroad at the Karlsruhe College of Music as an exchange student. During his studies, he composed for the Ensemble Modern Academy and his works are broadcast on South German Radio (SWR). Commissioned by Satoko Inoue (pianist), Hidejiro Honjo (shamisen player), Motoharu Kawashima (100-yen goods player), Participation in Ensemble Recherche x Japan Society for Contemporary Music Joint Project, Tadao Yamada (guitarist), and His work has been included in the album of Andrew Hosler (saxophonist), and his activities are expanding in various fields. 2022 ACL New Zealand Tournament "ACL Youth Composition Award" (Christchurch) 2nd place. In 2023, he will participate in the Music from Japan Festival (New York) as an invited composer. His works have been performed not only in Japan but also in Germany, Switzerland, USA, New Zealand and Austria. He has studied composition with Yukio Kikuchi, Michio Kitazume, Motoharu Kawashima, and Markus Hechtle, music theory with Hiroko Imamura, piano with Satoko Inoue, and musicology with Miyuki Shiraishi, Jun Yoshinari, and Akemi Nakata. He is a member of the Japan Composers Association, Japan Contemporary Music Association, and Kyushu Composers Association.
