Favoriting Cratedigger's Lung with Rich In Washington: Playlist from January 13, 2023 Favoriting

A three-hour exploration of excavations from the farthest reaches of humanity's hellish collective brain, through records, tapes, CDs, mostly scoured from country bumpkin thrift stores, creepy charity shops, backwoods junk stores, and even the internet - all mixed live. We don't judge, we just play 'em. Hosted by Rich in Washington.

@Rich i watched spinal tap a few years ago and it was funny
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
MHLee:

↳ Rich in Washington @8:37
There's a lot of deep purple in spinal tap....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm
MHLee:

Also I can't find evidence Beck was ever in the Savages, I guess he was just a Heavy Friend
  8:41pm
Robm:

↳ MHLee @8:40
@MHLee I wonder if it was written about deep purple?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
Kat in Chicago:

I know the first track I ever played was "Drone Logic" by Daniel Avery.
I love Spinal Tap! I've seen it 4 or 5 times at least
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm

The second album of Deep Purple has a very Stonehenge feel to it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm

  8:43pm

↳ Kat in Chicago @8:42

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm

Rich in Washington:

This interview is worth checking out on the toobs of you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
ultradamno:

↳ MHLee @8:40
I have a vivid memory of Deep Purple on TV when I was a child, maybe on Rock Concert, where they had elevating risers and were smashing instruments against amps while going up and down...maybe I dreamed it, but it was VERY Spinal Tap. Space Truckin' may be the most perfect rock song ever written. I remember seeing The Wahinis and they covered it and being very jazzed over that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
Kat in Chicago:

OMG this is already Spinal Tap level
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm
Rich in Washington:

↳ Kat in Chicago @8:44
