Did the Stormsville Shakers add “Stormsville” to their name to avoid confusion with the Shakers we just heard? (Where the heck is Stormsville, anyway?) I first heard of them from that excellent album Larry Williams did with Johnny “Guitar” Watson in 1965. The only other instance I heard the group was in that “Danger Man” episode where Drake goes undercover as a pirate station DJ.
