@clarke it would be hilarious if they built a wall, because all the "Hoboken" light rail stations are actually on the Jersey City side of the line. They originally wanted to run the light rail through Hoboken as a streetcar, but the Hoboken city fathers said no, so they ran it around the edge, along an old frieght line.

Ironically (kinda), routing the light rail along the edge of the industrial part of Hoboken spurred residential redevelopment in that part of town. Since that part of town is below sea level, our federal flood insurance is helping to pay for it, in a way. But someone in New Orleans would know all about that.

There is a Karloff documentary, Boris Karloff: The Man Behind the Monster (2021), streaming on AMC+ and Shudder; it's worth checking out. Accoding to family lore "Frankenstein" was the first film I vere sat still for. I was 3 and I became hooked on horror, especially Universal.

We went to the Famous Monsters Convention in NYC in 1974. Met Forrest J. and I have 2 issues of the mag signed by the cover artist Basil Gogos. They also had an exhibit of some of the first holograms. I wish I still had all my monster models.Do kids still do models.
