Mom, had a great time hanging with my two girlfriends last night. One was in town from San Diego, but I've known her like 34 years. She's from Houston, too, and known each other since she was 16 and I was 21. Our other friend also used to live in San Diego and she's from Texas too, and she lives now back in Austin as well. We went and saw Shandon Sahm, Doug Sahm's son, play. He was back in town from Amsterdam. Then we went to C-Boys where Carolyn Wonderland and a few Austin musicians were playing including Matt Hubbard on Hammond organ. They were so smokin' hot last night! Put on a fabulous show! Had a great night out!

This is great! liWe had a patient at work who was one of James’ Dancers. She kept a scrapbook and shared it with me, even though she wasn’t on my unit. It was amazing! Her husband played guitar in the band at one point, too.

Rochesterians Pee Wee Ellis and Alfonso County Kellum part of James Brown’s peak period band! The Popcorn LP is probably my favoriteJB album and there isn’t even any singing on it. Killer performance from beginning to end.
