A year ago my wife and I were in NYC for our abbot and tuned into WFMU from our hotel room early Saturday morning as we got ready to leave for Maine. We heard Jim the Poet reciting a poem whose prime refrain was “What are you looking at, bird?”. We were mesmerized and have been mesmerized ever since. We listen every Saturday morning from Baltimore with our two cats, Bertram and Roger!
