	🥁 ♥ 5:42pm Discotech Underground: Candy-I'm absolutely OK with that! It's been in the low 60's all week here and I'm not quite ready for that yet.
	🥁 ♥ 5:43pm Woo: MOM WHIG I get my avocados at Costco, which went as high as 11.99 for a 6-pack. Now it's down to 4.99. You have to keep a constant watch with avocados. They're not ripe then suddenly they are and then they spoil quickly
	🥁 ♥ 5:45pm Candy-O'67: Woo, I don't remember him apologizing to Austin about not being able to play every song, but I might have missed that. I thought the selection was mostly great! JR and I thought Love is the Drug was a little mellow, maybe a little slower! It was really great sounding, all the sax and guitar, backup singers, all the keyboards, including his. There were like 10+ people on stage. I'd never seen them before. I'm sure it was as cool as back in the '70's or '80's, but hey, he was still killer for someone in their late '70's! Still had no problem moving on the stage either! JR made the comment that his voice was a little lower now, but he still sounds great! Still a very nice voice!

	🥁 ♥ 5:50pm Discotech Underground: Alice Cooper played in Grand Rapids last night but I was not in attendance. I've been anxious to see a concert but there's nothing coming to the area that looks interesting. Cooper is playing basically the same set list he has been playing since 2019 so I skipped that one.
	🥁 ♥ 5:50pm Candy-O'67: Woo, they also didn't sell out. We were in a higher section and they moved everyone down from an upper section to better lower seats. So, we kind of felt bad they didn't sell out. JR said he's only known of them coming to TX one time before. He's driving up to Dallas to see them tomorrow night, too.

	🥁 ♥ 5:54pm Woo: Candy, I don't know if they sold out the United Center in Chicago. I thought that was a large hall for them. The ticket prices were pretty steep so maybe that kept people away. But all ticket prices are steep now. Great you got moved to better seats!
	🥁 ♥ 5:56pm Candy-O'67: They played the new Moody Center here, Woo. It's a pretty big place, but not super gigantic. I think tickets were steep here, too. It was $149 and some change for 2 tickets for those first seats we had. So, I'm sure the floor were really pricey
	🥁 ♥ 5:57pm Discotech Underground: The UC in Chicago is HUGE! I would have thought they would have been more at home in a 5000 seat size venue.

	🥁 ♥ 6:00pm Woo: Speaking of smoking, the time I saw Tom Waits at the Chicago Theater, it seemed like every person waiting in line outside was smoking. There were huge clouds. That's a Tom Waits crowd.

	🥁 ♥ 6:06pm Discotech Underground: Biggest concert venue wise I have seen was the Stones at Soldier Field. I was almost all the way to the very top of the rim of the stadium watching a teeny tiny Mick Jagger dance around what seemed like a mile away.

	🥁 ♥ 6:12pm Candy-O'67: I like that, too, Mom I also saw the Stones at Dodger Stadium - they were ants, too, when I saw them there. We had so much fun, though, and the pre-trying-to-park party in the car/SUV, too! It took 2 hours to park!! It was crazy, but we made the best of it! Still didn't miss the show. I guess we left early enough. It was probably like 2011 or something like that when I saw them out there

	🥁 ♥ 6:39pm Discotech Underground: I saw Paul for the first time at Lollapalooza in Chicago and while his performance was great, there were other aspects of the evening that kinda made the experience a bummer. He came around a couple of years later to a different venue so I went there and had a MUCH better time. I think I'm too old for Lollapalooza. I went in 2012 to see Black Sabbath and while the show was great, other things about it were rather disagreeable.

Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

	🥁 ♥ 5:43pm Woo: MOM WHIG I get my avocados at Costco, which went as high as 11.99 for a 6-pack. Now it's down to 4.99. You have to keep a constant watch with avocados. They're not ripe then suddenly they are and then they spoil quickly
	🥁 ♥ 5:45pm Candy-O'67: Woo, I don't remember him apologizing to Austin about not being able to play every song, but I might have missed that. I thought the selection was mostly great! JR and I thought Love is the Drug was a little mellow, maybe a little slower! It was really great sounding, all the sax and guitar, backup singers, all the keyboards, including his. There were like 10+ people on stage. I'd never seen them before. I'm sure it was as cool as back in the '70's or '80's, but hey, he was still killer for someone in their late '70's! Still had no problem moving on the stage either! JR made the comment that his voice was a little lower now, but he still sounds great! Still a very nice voice!

I've been anxious to see a concert but there's nothing coming to the area that looks interesting. Cooper is playing basically the same set list he has been playing since 2019 so I skipped that one.
	🥁 ♥ 5:50pm Candy-O'67: Woo, they also didn't sell out. We were in a higher section and they moved everyone down from an upper section to better lower seats. So, we kind of felt bad they didn't sell out. JR said he's only known of them coming to TX one time before. He's driving up to Dallas to see them tomorrow night, too.

	🥁 ♥ 5:56pm Candy-O'67: They played the new Moody Center here, Woo. It's a pretty big place, but not super gigantic. I think tickets were steep here, too. It was $149 and some change for 2 tickets for those first seats we had. So, I'm sure the floor were really pricey

We had so much fun, though, and the pre-trying-to-park party in the car/SUV, too! It took 2 hours to park!! It was crazy, but we made the best of it! Still didn't miss the show. I guess we left early enough. It was probably like 2011 or something like that when I saw them out there

	🥁 ♥ 6:39pm Discotech Underground: I saw Paul for the first time at Lollapalooza in Chicago and while his performance was great, there were other aspects of the evening that kinda made the experience a bummer. He came around a couple of years later to a different venue so I went there and had a MUCH better time. I think I'm too old for Lollapalooza. I went in 2012 to see Black Sabbath and while the show was great, other things about it were rather disagreeable.
