when i was a wee lad maybe 16, i heard Tina Brooks on the radio and it hit a chord -though i wasn't familiar with much jazz yet. wrote down the artist but i'd never heard of a dude named Tina so i figured i must've heard wrong. looked around for a long time for Tony Brooks, Tommy Brooks, Timmy Brooks, Gino Brooks, Dino Brooks...
happily happened upon a Tina Brooks album in the cutout bin many years later.

Stork they've been playing that rain forecast game here for a couple of years now. yes rain for 5 days straight starting tuesday...
then when it's sunny on tuesday they say wednesday; then wednesday they change it to saturday. saturday they change it to tuesday...
i noticed it then, and figured it might be part of the demoralizing effort that most people are oblivious to; but it could easily be...probably is- the result that meteorologists and nasa warned us the 5g network would cause. the instruments simply don't function correctly, even by the previous standards.
... that's the forecast problem. global warming is the weather problem.
