I have a sweat bee thats been in my window 4 days now (window open). Just hangs out on the screen…gets frisky when sun is out. No idea where it goes at night. By morning, its there again. I truly wonder where the bee goes at night. I think it hides in the grooves somewhere. Kinda stunned its been 4 days of rinse/repeat, and it never leaves the screen. I work all day, he crawlin up and down the screen…and around 8pm he just disappears.

@Destroit: in areas where there's lots of pollen in the air, it may cling to your window screen so the bee spends its day going up & down the screen collecting it & returns to the hive at night to deposit it. Bees can spend up to 12 hours daily in motion doing the job of pollen collection.

I was about to settle on 12/09/81 (as we'd say in the UK). Might have to do both. And puzzle over Jesse's cryptic comment : )
  10:30pm
the wandering space-elf:

__Ike__ his voice deteriorated over the years (cigarettes probably), it was much sweeter in the early days. Still pretty hit-and-miss, but you kind of learn to hear through that, it's hard to describe. If I come back to the Dead after a long time off, I sometimes can't quite handle a lot of the singing, but after a while you just sort of tune out the out-of-tuneness (like when you live near a noisy road and don't hear it after a while).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:31pm

Well anybody posits the Dead can't sing (/play/write/record)
- audition 'American Beauty' & get back to me.
Granted that represents a particular moment in 1970.
Avatar 10:43pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Agree with space-elf in other words. Sometimes the Dead sounded like they had no monitors or poor monitors ...& maybe sometimes that was true. Tho they certainly became pioneers even of artisan equipment (& how many characterize the Dead as say innovators of the P.A. System?)
But a lot of the time - Garcia's voice has this blend of authority & a very particular variety of warmth that one would challenge anyone else to duplicate.
