I just happened to come across a tour of Thomas crappers grave site while scrolling on YouTube. They said he didn't invent the toilet, they didn't say if he made the porcelain toilet or not. They just said that he invented the mechanics of how it works, flushing the crap down. And when he started manufacturing his new style of toilets for sale his name crapper was on the toilet, and since no one seen this kind of toilet before they thought it was called a crapper, that's why hence it's called the crapper to this day. And of course the shortened word crap from crapper for - well you know. but I'm certain you already know this basic crap. Just talking crap for the sake of talking I guess.
