(One of my hero of our strange digital era is the australian sound engineer Mikey Young who manages to perpetuate a sort of punk sound and attract many many famous bands (as Vintage Crop for example ) . Sorry for my bad english language , I'm french !

They drove me and my we son then Arnan in their Mobile/Van/Gig Touring vehicle to a show in Eindhoven and back later to A'dam. .. they were lovely folks .. the gave Arnan ear plugs for the gig ..

Sometimes I regret not being born in USA ! One example : I'm a fan of Guided By Voices , but I think that they have never played once in France . In any case , I never had the opportunity to see them in concert .

Anyway, Magazine's guitarist was great and out of his time. When the lights came up, Howard Devoto had somehow climbed up the mic stand and was clinging to it like some lizard. A crushing show. The ten people that were there for it loved it.

Went for a (VERY WINDY) paddle on the Hudson out of Saugerties. I saw someone with a WFMU sticker on their laptop in Catskill and gave them a "Hey, nice sticker!" and received similar in West Fulton meeting some musicians who had a place there but are also from Brooklyn (and have been played on WFMU!). prof.fuzz!

I saw someone with a WFMU sticker on their laptop in Catskill and gave them a "Hey, nice sticker!" and received similar in West Fulton meeting some musicians who had a place there but are also from Brooklyn (and have been played on WFMU!). prof.fuzz!
