while we're on a Ringo jag, most of us know that he dug country & western music but I read that when he left Rory Storm & The Hurricanes in 1961 he considered moving to Houston, TX and wrote to their chamber of commerce seeking work there. he got a reply with employment agency info!

For those who liked the Easybeats mini-series from Australian TV, I recommend another rock mini-series that ran about 7 or 8 years ago on SHOWTIME. This one centered on the career of Michael Hutchence and INXS .
