As a temporary college drop-out, driving to work in very late March 1976 or early April, I was sitting on the exit ramp of GSP Exit 135 Clark/Westfield when this Wings song made its premier on the radio. I have always remembered it. I was on my way to work, I was not a total deadbeat!

People buy power and vice versa so in the money/power driven world it seems the only way to change things is to take money away from those who already have an abundancy of it or make them powerless. In both cases that only works when people unite. Thats why money and power use the prime macchiavellian rule of division in order to stay in charge.

(am in and out) can I just add re: Lysistrata, I'm only saying for me, I'm not yelling at anyone, but I would have been likely to have _more_ relations with my guy. Because, that play was written (I think?) when women were property. We were two people who were very independent, we didn't even live together a lot of the time. He was always there for women, his whole life. I would have wanted to honor his work, with my love. . .OK I'll stop. But yes, boycott etc. No two party system & run off voting.

Ok @Handy - It's 1987 in Minneapolis. K8 must choose one, because in my imaginary scenario, this is all happening on one night.

1. Paisley Park opens with a late night Prince show and he plays SIGN O THE TIMES and jams into the morning.

2. Hüsker Dü play WAREHOUSE in its entirety, in sequence, before throwing in a set of their prior songs, at the 7th St Entry, before dissolving mere weeks later

3. The Replacements play First Ave on the PLEASED TO MEET ME tour and play one of the greatest sets in their history.

Which does she choose?

(PS- this all happened in Minneapolis in 1987 and I want to die from envy)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm
