Hello, Greg. I had a fake book with lyrics to "Take Five" and for the themes from "Star Trek", "The Odd Couple", and "The Third Man", but I don't know if anyone ever recorded those vocal versions.

I think Nichele Nichols recorded a version of "Star Trek" with lyrics. haven't heard "The Odd Couple", and "The Third Man" but that sure sounds nutty.

yeah, pretty sleazy. Robert Altman's son write the lyrics to the MASH theme when he was 19, and even tho the tv series used an instrumental version, he still got royalties. Altman says his son made more money off MASH than he did.

@ Fab - There was a particular double meaning in the line "He always followed his mother's wishes/ Even on the range he used two sets of dishes" is referring to kosher food prep rules and the range is the stove and the open range.

I only knew about P-Model cuz friend of mine who worked at record stores had an import copy that I think he pretty much just bought for the cover. Cuz they just look SO damn New Wave. I was amazed that Spacebrother had heard of them.
