His jaw is fractured, he lost part of his lip and five teeth, many remaining teeth are damaged beyond repair. His jaw is wired shut and he's speaking and eating through clenched teeth. Knowing some of the players, it was always a kick to get to hear them called out; to picture the different reeds and mouthpieces. Seemed like a gratifying gig. Can't be John Adams all the time (though it could).

Knowing some of the players, it was always a kick to get to hear them called out; to picture the different reeds and mouthpieces. Seemed like a gratifying gig. Can't be John Adams all the time (though it could).
