Hi Don and Noah!
Hi Debbie!
Ready to rock out!
  3:01pm Kittimu:

Avatar 3:01pm Debbie Davenport:

  3:05pm Kittimu:

Avatar 3:06pm Dolor-X:

🌟Greetings sparkly chatters!🌟
  3:07pm Kittimu:

Two breakup songs in a row today?
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:08pm Mr Fab:

Howdy, glitter kittens!

Love the strangely woozy strings on that Teezers track.
Avatar 3:08pm Naughty No No:

Hey 👋 Glitter ✨ Kidz !!
Avatar 3:09pm Debbie Davenport:

I got this Lainey Walker record in the mail recently and it made me think of a previous show when you guys were talking about there was only a few black women in glam rock. I think she might be black. A short effort to research it turned up nothing on the topic.
Avatar 3:11pm Naughty No No:

Lainey sounds black maybe kinda sorta idk 🤷‍♀️ she’s as white as they come though
Avatar 3:12pm Debbie Davenport:

Ah. She kind of looks like one of my black cousins, but I believe you. The only other person I could think of is the black woman in Rah Band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm Kat in Chicago:

Midwest power pop :)
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:14pm Mr Fab:

Yep. Chicago native Mrs Fab loves these guys.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Kat in Chicago:

Do you Fabs ever come through town?
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Mr Fab:

20/20: LA power pop! These guys I fondly remember.

We haven’t been back on Chi-town in, oh, 12 years? She doesn’t really know anyone there anymore.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Kat in Chicago:

Fair. I'm from NC/GA but I haven't been South since the early 90s.
Avatar 3:20pm Debbie Davenport:

I like how the drums are recorded in this song. Wish I knew the lingo around that. Maybe what I like is how they mixed it. Or how they are being played. I don't know!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm Rich in Washington:

I found both that Shoes and Taxi 7" in a huge box of 45s from a dead person whom a friend was caretaker for. Hundreds of so-so rock 7" and then this one big bunch in the bottom which were punk and new wave, and a smattering of skinny tie power pop.
Avatar 3:21pm Debbie Davenport:

It's Noah!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:22pm Mr Fab:

Really, Noah’s on this band?
Avatar 3:22pm Debbie Davenport:

Yes
Avatar 3:22pm Debbie Davenport:

2001
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Mr Fab:

IN this band. Tho he may be on them as well.
  3:23pm Kittimu:

He sounds so different here! I might've thought this was a milk n cookies song before I checked the info...
Avatar 3:23pm Debbie Davenport:

same here
Avatar 3:24pm Debbie Davenport:

heres the comparison
Avatar 3:24pm Debbie Davenport:

Hammered Satin Planet Boogie
Avatar 🎸 3:24pm JukeboxFix:

Love this song! Hope to see you guys play again this summer!
  3:24pm Kittimu:

Now this is one I can recognize!
Avatar 3:28pm Naughty No No:

I pleaded with Don not to do two in a row ooos
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:29pm Mr Fab:

Rich, I’ve noticed that goin thru personal record collections at estate/garage sales, etc.: 98% generic stuff, then a couple weird things in the back of the box, like some private press/lounge, highbrow jazz or soundtrack, foreign/ethnic records. Even thoroughly mainstream folk have their occasional odd moments.
Avatar 🎸 3:31pm JukeboxFix:

Play another one, who cares! Light Speed or Barbarian!
Avatar 3:32pm Debbie Davenport:

Hi Cheree!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Mr Fab:

Cheree July is in da house?!
  3:35pm BK:

On my Skate Board to Skate Board Rider 👌 🍻
Avatar 3:38pm Debbie Davenport:

and he's in the video
Avatar 3:40pm Debbie Davenport:

Love this!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:41pm Mr Fab:

Austri-pop? At first I thought Noah said “astro-pop,” which def sounds like it needs to be a real genre.
Avatar 3:44pm Naughty No No:

Astro Pop !
Avatar 3:45pm Naughty No No:

That’s exactly what I said :) specific to Austria 🇦🇹
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:48pm Mr Fab:

Guess where I am now? Noah’s Bagels! That Noah is a multitalented guy.
Avatar 3:50pm Naughty No No:

Lol 😂 mmmmm I want a bagel 🥯 now
Avatar 3:55pm Naughty No No:
