Whenever I get an MRI I have a sudden, last-minute paranoiac blossoming of terror as I suddenly wonder whether tattoo ink is metallic.

Also: three days of abstention is MORE than enough for one pandemic (and the longest I've gone since I actually had COVID!). I'm declaring the workday done and bar open.

@Carmichael: they do have what's called "open MRI scanners" Depending upon the manufacturer they are open on 2-3 sides to make the scanee feel more comfortable. No tube. I've never dealt with one but it sounds "better."

Oh! A question! I had forgotten to use the nebulizer machine but it matched well with the late and lamented Philip Jeck. Tony @4:54, in those days, they allowed you to bring music and they would play it in the "booth" and pipe it through to the tube of the MRI.
