Those last 3 songs … as a sentimental sap, I approve
Miss G: Saw a Warhol-Beuys exhibit at the Boston MFA in ‘01. Floored me.
And I'm saying that as someone who has read pretty much every word of his published fiction and poetry.
A long-ago cyberpunk roleplaying game postulated an aggressive fee-for-service ambulance company called REO Meatwagon.
There are some very interesting authors publishing cosmic-horror SF right now who are actively decolonizing Lovecraft and the Lovecraft story. I have been enjoying a few of them a lot. I mean, I will always treasure a lot of his writing, but as you say, the Big Issues are there and need to be confronted honestly.
I've played in ONE really satisfying Call of Cthulhu game. It's a tough one to run. It's all split-up-the-party action!
@Son of Pantz: Had a similar experience with Call of Cthulhu back in the day. Folks came into the game knowing too much and couldn't keep their characters properly new to the horrors. Too much munchkinism from their AD&D days.
But I still treasure Kingston Throop, former NYC detective, biplane enthusiast, and possessor of a curious and lively magical kangaroo penis.
(I also really enjoyed naming my CoC characters after NYC subway stops.)
I have a quick break from work to check in. Single File looked especially great. The War and Hoodoo Gurus are two of my faves, sad I missed it and will have to leave again in a few minutes though the show looks great, Joe.
ya might gain some time/years..
"I tried to duck out of jury duty, but they picked me anyway."
"Well, isn't that a slap in the face!"
Been here, digging the show!
The fanbase awaits your coming!

Ha, nice one, Joe! For real, efd -- same! (And hi!)
Many thanks, Joe! All the noise was good noise!
Stay on top, Surfactants!
This song was so ubiquitous in Chattanooga in my high school days. It really evokes a sense of boredom for me.
