Listening to Ken's Last Ever is as close as we're going to get to hearing radio approaching the early days of WFMU's finest experimentation. Live improvised collage sounds unusual and alien in contrast of the rest of the radio we are exposed to. But this sort of live-action boundary-pushing/genre liquidation isn't new. It harkens to a tradition that old WFMU had been known for. We are fortunate to have this show in our midst. And our ears.
