Bandcamp Disclaimer.

This playlist and links were put together before the Big announcement.
While I truly get the abrupt about face many have had shown towards Bandcamp.
I’d like to think artists are still being paid as before including 100% from todays Bandcamp Friday.
Do what you will with the links.
I know quite a few people who just went in and deleted their Bandcamp Friday carts, when I asked if they reached out to the artist to see how else they could purchase their music the answer was NO.
So I’m not sure how that helped the artists today, I suppose that move was to make themselves feel like an action was taken.
I feel for the artists who rely so heavily on this platform, and we’ll see how it all shakes out for them.

Fantastic, Frank. Really great. I was so impressed and happy. Here's my recap from when ChukAmok asked during TomDash's show:

They were so fucking on. Intense, fiery, fun, *long* set to a super-enthusiastic crowd. Maybe quite a lot of snow on the hills in the audience, but there were definitely some younger people out there.

On a personal level, for me, it was really powerful to see them again. They were one of those formative bands in HS I saw a ton (bless you, Atlanta, for all-ages shows, if nothing else). Lots of life lived since then, so I was really feeling the connections. And it turned out the opening band had musical and friendship connections, so I actually got to meet Doug from the Connells afterward and thank him for the music and all he's done for me, which I love LOVE to be able to do with musicians who have really meant something to me for a long time. It was a very emotional night, really good for me after a rough start to the evening.

Hey Meds. Hey all. Its a wait and see now. Bandcamp has been an outlier in the hopeless tragic music industry and thats why it got my support. I can only hope that Epic treats it with respect. Bandcamp used VC money and the VC wanted to cash out. Maybe someday the dream of artists running their own distribution system will rise up if it becomes an Epic fail.
