	11:47am morphe': When I first starting teaching = 1990/NYC, I bought a "real" xmas tree for the class and the students were horrified by "THE SMELL." I was heart broken.. I once asked where did meat come from a one student (17-21 y/os) said "Western Beef." Our best class trips were to the BX Botanical Gardens - old growth forest Beavers and Turtles and .. along the Bx River running through it - a great little enclave.. and Rockaway Beach - for many Eco reasons but specifically to teach Curvature of the Earth/Horizon.. Thanks for everything Trouble ... Especially the Teaching !!! Everything!!

	11:51am morphe': When my mother was growing up in rural/coastal Ireland (1930s-'40s), the only fertilizers were cow dung, compost and seaweed .. even now some farmers still use seaweed, especially those with soil closest to the beaches = poorest, sandy soil...

	11:47am morphe': When I first starting teaching = 1990/NYC, I bought a "real" xmas tree for the class and the students were horrified by "THE SMELL." I was heart broken.. I once asked where did meat come from a one student (17-21 y/os) said "Western Beef." Our best class trips were to the BX Botanical Gardens - old growth forest Beavers and Turtles and .. along the Bx River running through it - a great little enclave.. and Rockaway Beach - for many Eco reasons but specifically to teach Curvature of the Earth/Horizon.. Thanks for everything Trouble ... Especially the Teaching !!! Everything!!
