Slow the replay down enough, and you can see that JUST BEFORE Said tackles Snannon, she moves her aim away, and then the shot appears to graze Locke on the WRONG SIDE of the head. He claps his hand to his head; his hand conceals a sharp object with which he simulates a bullet graze.

Kling is starting to become a regular, and considering how often he and Dan run into each other, he should either be MORE suspicious of Holiday, or should just immediately ask him to lead the investigation, knowing how successful he usually is. It's odd that Kling's memory regarding Dan's role in previous cases is so short term.

	6:42pm Listener Robert: "Lost" was a work by two detective show writers -- Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse -- to be a mystery show that posed as a sci-fi/fantasy adventure show. The catch was that the audience was to be the detective, and most didn't even realize they were supposed to be. Damon practiced magic as a teenager -- did a trick for me and other friends of his father. That hidden Bullet Catch was part of a sequence that included another disguised dangerous magic trick: the Coffin Escape, by Boone. Most viewers of the show thought he was dead and that it was a ghost of him who later visited Locke.
	6:46pm Mr Fab: I take it that these disks preceded tape, and tape made the discs obsolete?
	6:46pm Ellen Lovebug: I've never even heard of transcription discs. This is intriguing. I'm amazed that you have such detailed knowledge of them.

I couldn't possibly include them all here, but if this sparks your imagination, I suggest looking them up... and even looking for the original short story, which talks about even more songs that don't show up in any radio version.

These are...Since the Pusher Met My Cousin (title only) That Red-Headed Venusburg Gal (title only) Keep Your Pants On, Skipper (title only) A Space Suit Built for Two (title only)... Several are described as sexually explicit songs excluded.." Sure would like to hear those.
	🎸 ♥ 7:40pm Austin Rich: The actor playing Rhysling is Kenneth Williams, who plays the character as being from the Ozarks, not far from Heinlein's hometown in Missouri.
	🎸 ♥ 7:42pm Austin Rich: CBS Radio Workshop actually aired a version of the story with a script written by Draper Lewis and Robert Heinlein. But I think that's the only version that Heinlein every had anything to do with.

	🎸 ♥ 7:47pm Austin Rich: Heinlein says that she pinched the title, "The Green Hills of Earth," (for both the song and the story). According to Heinlein, the short story "Shambleau" by C. L. Moore (first published in 1933) was the source. In it, a character sings / hums a songs called "The Green Hills of Earth." Another story by the same author credits the song to a performer, Rose Robertson. The song also appears in a further short story by the same authors.

	🎸 ♥ 7:47pm Austin Rich: Heinlein says that she pinched the title, "The Green Hills of Earth," (for both the song and the story). According to Heinlein, the short story "Shambleau" by C. L. Moore (first published in 1933) was the source. In it, a character sings / hums a songs called "The Green Hills of Earth." Another story by the same author credits the song to a performer, Rose Robertson. The song also appears in a further short story by the same authors.
