Hey, has everyone seen the footage of Joey Ramone in 1974 fronting Sniper? www.youtube.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm
Mike Sin:

@Aitch -- yes, but when the band has formed the term "generation X" was used not in ints current context. The book from 1965 is about mods in Britain.

@John eye. I saw The Ramones at My Father’s Place also. It was a re-scheduled show—WLIR had sponsored a show at Long Beach which got rained out, and it rescheduled for MFP. I think it was either ‘81 or ‘82. Dee Dee gave me his guitar pic. I was smushed up against the stage. A week or two later I ran into him in Sounds on 8th Street.

@FrankInQueens -- the whole "public access" sitch in '70s NYC confounds me... How were folks getting it at that time? My fam was was already out in the suburbs and we weren't wired up for cable until 1976. My relatives in the Bronx didn't have their streets dug up and obliterated for it until about 1978! UHF stations or something?
