Glad to be here for this. There have been a lot of tributes on WFMU these past couple of years (too many, of course, we have lost too many). And others of course have spanned multiple shows. But I don't remember one where the loss was so leavened with joy and gratitude for the art and the artist and the gift of sharing a world with them as these amazing shows for Ronnie.

@handy - one reason I think is not only is it an iconic talent but that said icon was somewhat in our orbit. she showed up at the record fair, was on Gaylord's show a couple times, Todd's show, called in to Spazz and my shows, performed at a few Ponderosa Stomp FMU broadcasts. not to mention Dennis D and Ira K having played with her, and other members of the extended FMU friends and family playing with her for years etc.
