not surprised, Rich - I worked in a supermarket last year after the law firms shut down, and damn, that muzak was miserable. Just awful emo pop. I really needed earbuds to get thru stocking them shelves. It did occur to me that they were doing this so shoppers would self-medicate and buy, buy, buy.
