Lots of great videos from the Capital Theater in Passaic on YouTube. The Joe Jackson and Robert Palmer ones are some of my faves.
  6:26pm
West Coast Ken:

Just read Dave Grohl’s book…lots of fun stuff on the early DC punk scene. Drops a lot of names, but there’s also a nice Joan story, too. Fun read.
  6:26pm
John eye:

On of Joan Jett’s former girl friend’s girl friend pulled a switch blade knife on me. This was while Joan Jett went to England after Runaways break up. Joan hooked up with Steve Jones and the drummer of Sex Pistols whose name escapes me now to record demos. Then she had the original version of I love RNR released as a 45 in England.
Avatar 🤘 6:28pm

Avatar 🤘 Swag For Life Member 6:49pm

I always think if you took two bands from different eras and melded them together you get Television. Those bands to me would be Talking Heads and Violent Femmes
