Cool, Handy, thanks! I was bopping around making coffee and feeding cats and I missed that. We spend a lot of time on the 606 (former Bloomingdale) trail, before they made it nice we used to sneak up there and walk along the abandoned railroad tracks, but it's so much better now!

It makes me really happy to see whole families using the 606 trail. It's kind of like the High Line in Manhattan, except it actually goes somewhere, and it's not packed with 16 million tourists.

...& oh yeah - know High Flying Bird (not surprisingly) from Jefferson Airplane in MontereyPop - a great version. Back in the Olde Century we'd see these films on TV channels like once a year - a big deal for us... Now I know that Judy Henske's version (marvelous) was surely behind it...

Hey Joe. Belated greetings, just back from saying hello to new grandaughter.

Good ol' Pete. I had the good fortune to jam with him once between studio breaks (we were in adjacent rooms).

Thanks for listening and commenting today, everybody! Next week back to the usual freeform mix. Really happy I did this label spotlight show! Wish I had another 2 hours to play all the other stuff I brought! See you next time.

Super solid show, Joe G. !! .
Skyline chili formally kpx:

chresti, you know what would be funny. If Franco was to come home one day and presented you with some vagabonds and snakes, and then you could sing the lyrics of that Jim Stanford song that goes.♪I don't like vagabonds and snakes, and that's not what it takes for you to love me, like the way I want to be loved by you, you fool♪.

Thanks Joe McG - great job!

Thanks, Joe. Might need a volunteer wrangled up to curate the label shows going on. Julie did 4AD and Michele did Feeding Tube lately and there may be other examples.

Thank you, Joe! Really enjoyed this label feature. Great stuff!
