	♥ 7:43pm unsolicited advice∅: Becky - don't pay more than 1/2 the completed job amount (with materials) up front... put a finish deadline in the contract that takes a certain amount off the final cost for EACH DAY past that... don't let him/her/them talk you into anything you don't love (unless the materials are completely free with no hidden costs) because usually it means they've got it sitting around, leftover from another job, and they'll take materials cost from you anyway... get in the contract that in case of large damage or theft that you can sue the individual, not just the company.

It was a real pit, but for money. Worked out though! They worked through their problems and hung in there. House turned out great too.

	♥ 7:43pm unsolicited advice∅: Becky - don't pay more than 1/2 the completed job amount (with materials) up front... put a finish deadline in the contract that takes a certain amount off the final cost for EACH DAY past that... don't let him/her/them talk you into anything you don't love (unless the materials are completely free with no hidden costs) because usually it means they've got it sitting around, leftover from another job, and they'll take materials cost from you anyway... get in the contract that in case of large damage or theft that you can sue the individual, not just the company.

It was a real pit, but for money. Worked out though! They worked through their problems and hung in there. House turned out great too.
