He played maxwells about then, and he did the song late in the set. A woman was in front of me and was nice and polite throughout. Song begins and she lets out a loud roar. Hilarious. JWH wore a nice blazer and 2 songs in, sez (paraphrased), “I paid $500 for this jkt and I’m gonna wear it for a few more songs”. He’s a cool dude. As is Matt Warwick. As is wfmu. As is wfmu listeners. (So why haven’t I hellraised pledged yet? Oh I am not James Worthy.)
