The sport is paying a price in attendance by trying to eradicate that kind of thinking. It'll take years but they're trying. They're doing a non-points race inside the LA Colosseum next year and are looking to do a street race in downtown Chicago. Getting some diversity in ownership too with Michael Jordan, Pitbull, and others. And I will say there were more masks worn there than I saw at any of the other other sporting events I surfed through this weekend.

	🛎 ♥ 2:30pm Handy Haversack: Mary, our building had flooded from climate-change-related thaw-freeze cycles in January 2020 and we'd spent a couple of months entering through the condos next door and being subject to extremely derisive treatment from the residents (and doormen!). So I'm at least glad they have managed to fix the elevator here in the last 18 months. Got my new key. The lobby of this building is a "public" space run by Lincoln Center, and it's still closed to the public.

They're doing a non-points race inside the LA Colosseum next year and are looking to do a street race in downtown Chicago. Getting some diversity in ownership too with Michael Jordan, Pitbull, and others. And I will say there were more masks worn there than I saw at any of the other other sporting events I surfed through this weekend.
