Looking at the history of RC Cola - it came out in 1905, because Coca-Cola syrup was too expensive. It's always been a cheap alternative. And apparently Nancy Sinatra made a few commercials for RC, I'll have to seek those out.

Up with People formed in 1965, spun off a religious group called "Moral Rearmament", I guess they were trying to be more accessible. They tour schools and stuff. And they have a camp where they indoctrinate new members. I think it's sort of a cult. Amazed to read they are still around.
