Because in that town, prunes were a huge industry. You couldn't really transport ripe plums or store them for very long in the 1800s.

@βrian: is that a dare or a suggestion? I might do it either way. I'm seriously wondering what to do with all the plums I've picked.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm

Too many? Maybe you should prune them down?
Avatar 7:46pm

Avatar 7:51pm
βrian:

I had a small bit of mead in Bunratty Castle when I was a kid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm
Rich in Washington:

yes it is, chresti. We occasionally get these bulletins that a prisoner's walked away from work duty. It's a minimum security prison for offenders at the end of their sentence. They learn how to fight fires and maintain fire trails. They also have the pilot program where they take care of cats and kittens as a calming experiment.

I've explored my own state so little. Places between here and Seattle, Olympia, and Bellingham but really have never gone very far East. I guess the closer you get to the Washington/Idaho border, the more it's Ammon Bundy/trump country. Yikes!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm
