We were lucky...a little water in the basement, and I scrambled to move about 300 records off the floor (need more shelves) but just a water covering and then it stopped - the drains all over the city were just maxed out so water came back into drains, basements...we were lucky!
	♥ 11:02am Threemoons: We got 5' of water in our building's basement. Poor super's apartment was a mess; boiler got cut, he worked all through the night working sump pumps and trying to get the water out...he was up for over 24 hours dealing with things. Miraculously the room with people's storage lockers was OK, which means that my huge stash of Costco paper goods, feminine hygenie items, and similar was not ruined. I feel VERY lucky.

We were lucky...a little water in the basement, and I scrambled to move about 300 records off the floor (need more shelves) but just a water covering and then it stopped - the drains all over the city were just maxed out so water came back into drains, basements...we were lucky!
	♥ 11:02am Threemoons: We got 5' of water in our building's basement. Poor super's apartment was a mess; boiler got cut, he worked all through the night working sump pumps and trying to get the water out...he was up for over 24 hours dealing with things. Miraculously the room with people's storage lockers was OK, which means that my huge stash of Costco paper goods, feminine hygenie items, and similar was not ruined. I feel VERY lucky.
