Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm Mr Fab:

Today: Super cool show of thrift-store/outsider weirdness from the archives of the Archivist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm Krys O.:

Ready to Wiggle!
Avatar 8:00pm Otis Fodder:

Hi Viv, very excited to see ya/hear ya programming. Bring on the fun finds, my ears are ready.
Avatar 8:01pm Sonderangebot:

Hi everyone! So happy you can hear me!! I'm sure Viv would be too!
Avatar 8:02pm Otis Fodder:

Sounding clear and gooood. Thanks for streaming up the storm Sondy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:02pm Pauly from Clifton:

Hi Viv, folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:02pm Mr Fab:

Yes! thank you Sonderangebot for spinnin Viv's show today.
  8:02pm Vivian:

Hi! I'm here. I'm watching Artie Barnes (Barnes & Barnes) Livestreaming at the moment!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Scott67:

G'day Viv & Dewey Decimals!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Mr Fab:

Eat them up yum, Viv.
Avatar 8:04pm Otis Fodder:

MARKIE
Avatar 8:04pm Sonderangebot:

Viv I love LIL MARKIE
  8:05pm Vivian:

Otis, I now have the CD That has the STUDIO version of Fearfully and Wonderfully Made as well as an 8 tape set of audiobooks called Sugartown.
Avatar 8:06pm Otis Fodder:

I am so small reading that there is a 8-tape set of Markie, what the hay! Maybe we should have you do a Markie day in Sheena. Ha!
Avatar 8:07pm Sonderangebot:

If Little Marcy and Lil Markie were in a ring, who would win?
Avatar 8:07pm Otis Fodder:

This song actually ain't half bad. As I dream of lying in a field looking at the moon.
Avatar 8:07pm Otis Fodder:

They would duet and fall in love.
  8:07pm Vivian:

Many have a negative view of Markie. I found his wife's facebook and read her narrative of the last few months of his life. It was very sad, he brought a lot of happiness to his family. I view him in a different light now.
  8:08pm Vivian:

He was not old either. 55 I think.
Avatar 8:09pm Otis Fodder:

Nice to read that Viv. 55 is young.
  8:10pm Vivian:

Another bit of info. Markie did not write I Am So Small.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm Mr Fab:

"a Markie day in Sheena" I am frightened that this could be a real thing! If anyone could make it happen, it would be the man who co-hosted the 24 hour "Xanadu" marathon.
Avatar 8:11pm Otis Fodder:

"Yay MySpace" ... what a song title, yesss!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm Scott67:

I felt like I was in a Otis & Rich Sado Christian Sandwich.
πŸ‘πŸ˜‰πŸ‘Ή
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm Krys O.:

Impressive songwriting.
Avatar 8:15pm Otis Fodder:

Ha Scott!

I got in touch with Viv through Irwin btw all... as she is a deep deep digger of the private presses in the thrifts and online digging up info.
Avatar 8:16pm Otis Fodder:

Kitty. This is so good.
  8:16pm Vivian:

I just bought a tape of a retirement lunch, a wedding, and some keyboard compositions by a person called Castorina.
Avatar 8:16pm Sonderangebot:

Oh my that sounds promising!
Avatar 8:16pm Otis Fodder:

Ha, of course you did. You will be back right... playing more songs for us, yes? I hope weekly!
  8:17pm Vivian:

The Kitty record was an entry in Giro Festival 1982, an Italian music contest. Other young singers were entered as well.
Avatar 8:17pm Otis Fodder:

Is this Nicole? Don Campau's daughter?
  8:18pm Vivian:

Nope, this was produced by Don Campau's wife Robin. Nicole was in her 20s by the time Stardust came out.
Avatar 8:19pm Otis Fodder:

Oh wow, it's so good. I recognize the Lonely Whistle label, used to trade tapes with Don 25+ years back.
  8:19pm Vivian:

I was 4 going on 5 in 2000, and this song perfectly describes what it was like for me.
Avatar 8:19pm Otis Fodder:

This show is so awesome, cracking up here and grooving.
  8:21pm Vivian:

This Pac Man album was officially licensed by Namco. It is one of the weirdest things attached to the Pac Man brand.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm Mx. Baba Bee (e/they):

I've been trying to add a comment, however I am stunned by these recordings and unable to think of anything suitable for that set. Hello, Vivian and all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm Pauly from Clifton:

Wow, 1980...I had no idea and I was I full arcade mode at this time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm Mr Fab:

Ha, Baba! I'm just kinda stunned how catchy that Pac Man tune was: "Pac-Man's Magic Land...Pac-Man's Magic Land..."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm Pauly from Clifton:

*in full arcade mode*
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm Mx. Baba Bee (e/they):

I remember my first Pac Man, at the pizza place in Astoria, Oregon. What a quantum leap from the PONG game we had at home!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm Mr Fab:

The Handless Organist *jaw drops*
Avatar 8:29pm Sonderangebot:

I had to google her, Fab.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29pm Krys O.:

Just cleaned after dinner. Grooving to the extra crispy tunes, Viv!
  8:29pm Vivian:

  8:34pm Mol:

Hey Viv! Just tuning in to support you! You're doing great
Avatar 8:35pm Otis Fodder:

Keith Richards is having a laugh at the moment.
  8:36pm Vivian:

Heya! This isn't *my* show by the way Mol, just a guest spot. Let's hang out this week!
  8:39pm Vivian:

Paul Super Apple's mugshot for anyone curious. More like Paul Super Santa. https://www.homefacts.com/offender-detail/MAaJESFbWwET9HL4k7tb9Q/Paul-J-Maraglia.html
  8:40pm Mol:

You're hilarious Viv
  8:40pm Vivian:

This song was on Grossman's third and final album, recorded not too long before his son murdered him. His nephew Luke told me they played this song at his funeral.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm Mr Fab:

A friend of mine found Rick Grossman's "Hot Romance" in a thrift or bargain bin in the early '90s. I don't even remembering listening to it. We just loved the cover.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm Scott67:

Thanks for the Viv section selections! Carve it up again soon!
πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸŽΆπŸ“»πŸŒžπŸŒ
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm Krys O.:

Well done! Thanks, Viv!
Avatar 8:56pm Otis Fodder:

Thanks Viv! Hope to hear you programming back here again soon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm Mr Fab:

Daniel Johnston's vice got so low. hardly recognized him.
Avatar 8:57pm Sonderangebot:

Thanks Viv ! Loved it. Just filling the last couple of minutes with a file that was lying on my computer!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58pm Mr Fab:

MUCH thanks to Sondy and Viv. Yes, hope to hear more from the Master Archivist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm Scott67:
