As of Sept. 13th we are allowed to come back if we want. All employees must be vaccinated if they do. But still no live guests or music for the undetermined future. I think I'm still going to be working mostly from home.

We're allowed to pick whether we want to go back full time, not at all, or hybrid. But I think I risk losing my own office space if I'm not there three days a week. So that's my plan.
	10:06am B Wad: Ahoy, trouble! Just getting up from the pottery wheel here, also loved the Laurie Anderson. A few years ago I saw her play a performance festival in Jerusalem. It was right on the eve of the 2016 US presidential election, and she started her performance by leading the entire auditorium in a full-on primal scream.

When I used to have an Office Proper in NYC--one block from Grand Central--I used it as secondary storage for my "Manhattan Stuff."--gym clothes, a change of clothes, etc. I had not only my own door, but a full bookcase and a huge wardrobe as well as a wraparound desk with tons of drawers and a secondary book hutch. You know, almost A-suite....sigh.

I wasn't IT but I had a job at a brokerage doing Internet Stuff ages ago and the only place they had desk room for me was in the server/wire room. Luckily the two techies I worked with were great guys and also as funny as hell otherwise I never would have put up with freezing cold temperatures, flickering lights, and the constant hum of machines as well as someone stopping in every 5 seconds because they broke something on their Windows installation.

	♥ 11:35am Pale Son: I think it got codified by a lot of white British artists in the '80s as a cheap arrangement trick, and after growing up on that, people have to be exposed to a lot of the real thing before they can hear what's really there.

	♥ 11:35am listener james from westwood: Maybe the reggae dislike comes from most US radio stations only playing the same three Bob Marley tracks (same for the ad industry)? And then they just transfer that frustration to the whole genre?
	11:36am Marie: I have grown to love reggae more and more with time. Going to Jamaica for a psilocybin retreat further added to it. I never realized how fantastic it is to dance to--so many beats going on.

My friend at the record store said "You know there's lots of good reggae. Try this...." and I've been in the deep end since.

When I used to have an Office Proper in NYC--one block from Grand Central--I used it as secondary storage for my "Manhattan Stuff."--gym clothes, a change of clothes, etc. I had not only my own door, but a full bookcase and a huge wardrobe as well as a wraparound desk with tons of drawers and a secondary book hutch. You know, almost A-suite....sigh.

I wasn't IT but I had a job at a brokerage doing Internet Stuff ages ago and the only place they had desk room for me was in the server/wire room. Luckily the two techies I worked with were great guys and also as funny as hell otherwise I never would have put up with freezing cold temperatures, flickering lights, and the constant hum of machines as well as someone stopping in every 5 seconds because they broke something on their Windows installation.

	11:36am Marie: I have grown to love reggae more and more with time. Going to Jamaica for a psilocybin retreat further added to it. I never realized how fantastic it is to dance to--so many beats going on.
