Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

I was a huge Stones fan when I was in my late teens. I collected their records and memorabilia. I had a lot of cool things like the Rolling Stones Monthly magazines, the UK bubble gum cards, almost all the picture sleeves, imports...wish I had them all back!

Have the Stones Mono box in CD, the Mobile Fidelity vinyl box from years back (stereo, if I remember, have to pull it out as well). On the fence on this stereo/mono stuff (I grew up with the stereo, those 1st impressions are hard to break)

doctorjazz-the early LP's were released in "rechanneled" stereo...meaning they aren't "real" stereo which is why some of us prefer the monos. They seem closer to the original intent rather than the altered versions. Just personal preference.

doctorjazz-From what I have seen, the Stones reissues that say "from the original master tapes" are mono. Abkco did some in the 80's when the Stones were first on CD and they were in mono on the early releases. I don't know about MFSL but I kinda doubt they would use rechanneled versions.
