When I played at an experimental music /club music fest in upstate two weeks ago, one dj did a country set. Most people hated it, I was in 7th heaven (I used to dj country nights, and well any pther genre you can think of)

I came up w/ no isntruments. found an old piano harp from the 30s in a barn, played it w/ dessicated sunflower stalks,. contact miked it and had the percusionist run it through his fx and had ambient noise while avamt dancers danced in front of multiple projections and multimedia intallations in the woods and lake.
